iTero Element Camera

iTero Element Camera/Scanner
The iTero Element® 2 is an intraoral scanner that provides an intuitive user interface using integrated Invisalign capabilities to perform digital scans for Restorative CAD/CAM dentistry or orthodontic use. It is an upgrade to the original Element intraoral scanner as it delivers faster processing and sharper digital images.
The Scanning
The dentist is directed through the scanning sequence by means of visual and textual assistance. The touchscreen and center-mounted wand cradle are ergonomic and are used to respond to onscreen instructions during the scanning process.
The Technology
iTero Element 2 is developed to adapt with existing iTero orthodontic and restorative workflows, including laboratory workflows, open STL export, custom implant abutment, custom milled models, and chairside milling partners. It enables the experienced practitioner to capture a full arch in as little as one minute, and the 21.5” monitor gives sharper, high-definition 3D images in a 16:9 widescreen format.
Going digital with iTero means circumventing the physical flaws associated with traditional impressions for high-quality prosthetics with fewer remakes.
