Why Not Just Use Over-the-Counter Products?
The Zoom! Procedure
Having your teeth whitened with Zoom! usually takes about an hour in our Cedar Park office. The process starts when the Zoom! whitening gel is applied to your teeth. After that, we’ll ask that you sit under the specially designed Zoom! light for 15 minutes while the whitening gel does its work. There is an option to go through 1-4 bleaching cycles depending on the patient’s comfort level. The results are stunning and it is one of the most conservative ways to brighten up your smile.
Important Reminders about Teeth Whitening
You should know that teeth whitening may not be right for everyone. If you have sensitive teeth to begin with, whitening may increase that sensitivity for a short period of time after the process. Whitening products are only intended for permanent teeth, so it’s not appropriate for children. Whitening products also do not work on dental restorations (such as crowns, bridges, etc.).
